Financial support of Explorit Science Center makes a difference in the lives of children and families. Explorit Science Center relies on the generous support of individuals, corporations, foundations and service groups to provide hands-on science education.

We invite you to consider supporting science education through one of these opportunities. Please contact the Executive Director or Development Office for further details at (530) 756-0191.

$2,500, $5,000, $10,000 $25,000 or more The exhibitions at our site serve both the general public and school group field trips. Many exhibitions generate "spin-off" activities to be incorporated in to outreach programs. All donors are recognized in promotional materials and on the Web.

      "Move It! Science in Action": is Explorit's first long term exhibition. It opens on March 7, 2008 and new items will be added throught the year as funds are received. The exhibition is composed of durable interactive exhibits that will be on the floor for three to five years. There are naming opportunities for individual exhibit. More ...

Explorit's popular program serves over 300 pre-k through 5th grade children each summer at two sites in Davis. Sponsorship opportunities are at $2,500, $5,000 and $10,000. As a sponsor, you receive your logo on the T-shirts distributed to each class participant, acknowledgement on the promotional materials, Web site and in Explorit's Science Centered newsletter.

Explorit reaches a majority of our audience through traveling programs. In any given year, we'll visit school and community sites in 12 or more counties in northern California. Some popular outreach sponsorship opportunities include:

Classroom Adventure

$ 500 for up to 4 programs at a school

Subject-specific lessons for K-6 grades.

Science in Your World / Health in Your World

$1,250 per event

Mobile science program for children and families of a school or community center. Sponsor a program at a school or let us direct the funds to a low-income school that requests fee assistance. Sponsorship benefits include your name on signage, recognition in the newsletter and on web-site and media releases.
