How does your business membership benefit Explorit's mission?

In addition to operating a science center in Davis, Explorit presents science education programs to elementary schools in 13 Northern California counties. At many of them, the kids receive little or no other science instruction. And inadequate science education is hurting our region. California students rank second from the bottom in nationwide science testing. This crisis means we're not preparing a workforce that's literate in science principles and critical thinking skills. We're not adequately preparing future employees for your business and others.

Businesses can help address that crisis by supporting Explorit's science education efforts. Last year, we presented our school programs to 55,918 individuals. This year, with your help, we can increase that number.

What benefits can you, as a business member, enjoy?

We invite you to consider supporting science education in our region with a tax-deductible gift of $500 or $250. You'll receive the following benefits:

An enhanced company image, through recognition in local media, a prominent sign in our museum, acknowledgement on our Web site (complete with a link to your business) and a handsome Recognition Certificate to display at your place of business.
A Free Admission Day for employees and their families for businesses at the $500 level. You'll also receive free family admission passes 15 at the $500 level, 10 at the $250 level that can be used at anytime.
