Challenge Question #1.
Is there such a thing as nonsticky glue?
Yes, sort of! A new epoxy adhesive called ElectRelease sandwiched between two pieces of painted metal will hold indefinitely. However, it is possible to separate the painted surfaces in less than one minute without marring the paint. How can this be done? |
Challenge Question #2.
Teflon and similar non-stick materials used on cookware are made from the polymer polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). A recent analysis of studies conducted over the past 40 years reveals an interesting fact about what happens when an empty nonstick pan is heated to unusually high temperatures.
What does happen?
