Installed in Mace Ranch Community Park, located just behind Explorit's Mace Park Branch, in 2006. Artist Sam Tubiolo led workshops in tile-making at Explorit in 2003, and he incorporated the results in this multifaceted art installation.
This art piece consists of a winding path that wraps around the park's Nature Habitat, a corner wall and a rock-and-mound solar calendar. Try to visit the solar calendar around the time of the solstice or equinox for a particularly interesting visit.
