Car wash a success!
Volunteer and former Explorit camper coordinates a car wash fundraiser.
Timmy Brown, volunteer at Explorit, contributes to the organization not only by being a Science Teaching Assistant, but also by organizing a benefit car wash that took place on August 21.
Explorit would also like to recognize Spencer Zenner, Garek Najita, Mclean Taggard, Miranda Steidler, Mark Unger, Eli Smith, Amanda Glazer, Julie Asperger, and Jordan Weston.
This group of young men and women washed about 38 vehicles raising money for Explorit's program operations. A heartfelt thank you goes out to these hardworking teens and all the members of the community who came to show their support.
Lou Ziskind, Executive Director of Explorit Science Center, added; "We are so very proud of Timmy and all his friends who took time from their Saturday schedule to make the car wash fundraiser so successful. Thank you to everyone who participated in the car wash and supported Explorit."
