Special to the Enterprise

Explorit Science Center will be shaking it up this October with a brand new, earth-shattering exhibition in our Anne Hance Exploration Gallery. Opening October 15, Earth Explorations will give you a whole new perspective on this dynamic planet we call home.

From the gradual but dramatic effects of wind erosion to the sudden and stunning upheaval of an earthquake, discover the many forces shaping our planet. Test a variety of structures on an earthquake shake table, or control the direction of the wind in an aeolian landscape. There’s much to explore!

Help us celebrate the grand opening of this amazing exhibition at our ribbon cutting on Monday, October 15 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Members get exclusive early access at 4:00 p.m. The cost is $5 for members, $7 for nonmembers; children 2 and under are free.

Catch the U.C. Davis Chemistry Department’s explosive show and meet some creepy crawly friends from the Bohart Museum of Entomology. Witness Citrus Circuit’s new robotic creation and be among the first to discover all that Earth Explorations has to offer.
