The bees in Explorit’s hive are buzzing, the newly planted lavender is blooming and Explorit Science Center is bursting with activity as we prepare for the start of Summer Science Camp on Monday, June 12. We’ll be blasting off to Mars, joining nature’s orchestra and exploring microscopic worlds of soil, water and invertebrates.

And there’s still time to join us. Registration is currently open for the whole summer. With camp options for students ranging from entering Pre-Kindergarten (minimum age of 4) to entering eighth grade, there’s surely a camp for every budding scientist.

Learn to measure and track weather events as we become meteorologists in our camps on weather and climate. Or cozy up to a cold-blooded critter or two in our camps on reptiles.

Let your creativity run wild as we explore the intersections of art and science in our craft camps, or get building in our structural engineering and architecture camps. Science takes wing in camps about bees and birds, and rockets out of this world on an adventure to Mars in our astronomy camps.

Summer Science Camp begins Monday, June 12 and runs most weeks during the summer through August 18. You can find registration information, a full schedule and all the details at www.explorit.org.
