Explorit launches vehicle donation program
It's as easy as filling out a form. Explorit benefits and you get a tax deduction.
Do you have an old car, truck or other vehicle that you no longer want or need? You could sell it, trade it in at a dealership or donate it to Explorit.
Our new vehicle donation program gives you a tax deduction (provided you itemize deductions) and benefits the science center with proceeds from the car's sale by a third party.
The process is simple. You fill out a one-page form (Vehicle Donation Form, 95.5 kB pdf) and follow its instructions.
Within 48 hours, a towing company will contact you and arrange for pickup of your vehicle anywhere in the continental United States or Hawaii. You'll get a receipt for tax purposes during the pick-up.
