Explorit Seeks Actors for Spooky Science Night

This article appeared in the August 31, 2018 edition of the Davis Enterprise.

Special to the Enterprise

Do you have an inner cowboy? Or maybe you’ve always seen yourself as a plucky, wild west pioneer. Either way, Explorit has an opportunity for you to delve into your nineteenth-century persona and help visitors explore the past this October at Spooky Science Night!

We are seeking volunteer actors to help us bring our all-new immersive sci-fi mystery to life. Visitors will travel back in time to the early days of Mace Ranch to solve a gold rush mystery.

Or for those of a more modern mindset, our story has 21st-century characters too. Whether you’re available for just one night, or for the full four-night run of the event, you can lend your dramatic flair to the cause of science! With plenty of opportunity for improv, each performer can truly make a character their own.

Spooky Science Night runs Fridays and Saturdays, October 19-20 and 26-27, 6:00-9:00 p.m. each night. If you are interested in this performance opportunity, please email Explorit at with “actor” in the subject line. Come be a part of a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
