Special to the Enterprise

From sequencing the genome of wheat to discovering twelve new moons orbiting Jupiter, 2018 was a busy year in scientific innovation and exploration. This past year, scientists have successfully 3D printed human corneas and created stronger and more resilient nanofibers.

But there is much more still to learn and discover. What new scientific break-throughs might 2019 have in store?

Perhaps we’ll see a revolution in cancer treatment, or discover a new plentiful source of green energy. Maybe we’ll detect seismic activity on Mars for the first time.

But whatever great scientific innovations 2019 may bring, Explorit Science Center will continue bringing hands-on science adventures to classrooms and stimulating exhibitions to our museum. You can join us in filling 2019 with science by becoming a member at www.explorit.org/join or donating to support our ongoing work at www.explorit.org/support.

The gift of science education is one that will keep on giving for generations, inspiring tomorrow’s scientists to keep pursuing new knowledge and discoveries. The scientific achievements of tomorrow can begin with your gift today.
