Not Too Late for an Explorit Program this School Year

Explorit Family Science Nights transform your school's multipurpose room into a science museum for a night.

Special to the Enterprise

Spring break is a time to rest, relax and prepare for the final few weeks of school before summer. And that means you have one last chance to have Explorit come visit your school before the end of the year!

Educators can choose from a variety of program options to find something that will fit their classroom and curriculum needs. Choose a Classroom Adventure to have Explorit provide hands-on science activities one classroom at a time, or a Family Science Night for science fun for the whole school.

Classroom Adventures serve up to 40 students at a time and are available in six topics: Amazing Animals, Earth’s Features, Ecosystems and Biomes, Explorations in Energy, Light and Sound, and Simple Machines. Book up to four Classroom Adventures on the same topic on the same day for a discount.

Family Science Nights transform your school’s Multipurpose Room into a science museum for a night. Students, their families and the whole neighborhood can come for an evening of hands-on science. Choose Science in Your World for a broad range of science topics, or Green World, Healthy People for a more environmental focus.

Or perhaps you’re looking to go off campus. Bring your class to Explorit for a field trip with our Discovery Lessons, Inquiry Labs and Nature Safaris. Choose just one program for a quick visit, or do two or three for a full day.

Discovery Lessons explore our current museum exhibition on Feathers. Inquiry Labs offer small groups of students escalating team challenges on topics including Chemistry, Electricity, Energy or Light and Sound. Nature Safaris dive into the natural wonders of Mace Ranch Park.

Each field trip program serves up to 40 students at a time. Make your program reservation by filling out the online form at http://www.explorit.org/programs/programs-for-groups or call 530-756-0191.
