A mysterious coded message handed down through the generations, a family’s missing treasure, and a physics-defying journey through time await intrepid science investigators at this year’s Spooky Science Nights at Explorit. This immersive sci-fi mystery experience returns with an all-new adventure.

Travel back in time to Explorit's wild west, ghost town past to solve a gold rush mystery and help the Mace family save their horse ranch! Use physics to open the time portal and immerse yourself in the nineteenth century.

Then return to Explorit's 21st-century lab to unravel the clues and solve the mystery. Analyze soil and mineral samples, decode a secret message, compare handwriting samples, and much more! Your sleuthing could change the course of history! Then drop by our craft room to make a souvenir to take home. Solve the mystery, win a prize!

Spooky Science returns for another year of immersive, sci-fi fun. This year’s all-new mystery opens to the public Friday and Saturday, October 26-27, with a preview weekend for Boy and Girl Scouts on Friday and Saturday, October 19-20, 6:00-9:00 p.m. each night. Children 3-17 are $10, adults and children 2 and under are free. Registration is open now. Call 530-756-0191 to sign up.
