Challenge Center

Explorit's Challenge Center appeals to the inventor/builder in all of us. It's a special room packed with everyday items - mostly recyclables - that can be used in building projects.

Every couple of weeks we post a new challenge for visitor. Some examples: How tall a tower can you build? What is the best way to build a rubber-band-powered car from nothing but recycled materials and 'found' objects? How can you slow down a falling marble?

Kids and adults alike can spend hours in this room!

Admission is free with paid admission to the museum; there is a $1 suggested donation for those who want to take their creations home.
