Hello from Explorit!

As Explorit celebrates its 25th anniversary, it is rewarding to look back on how much we have grown. Founded in 1982, Explorit began as a local center serving the Davis community. Twenty-five years later, we still have our local science center ­ now expanded to two sites ­ that is a destination for visitors from all over the country. Furthermore, we are proud to offer hands-on traveling programs that reach people in 13 counties of Northern California.

As Explorit grows, we look for new ways to meet the needs of the education community. Educators are under a great deal of pressure to improve school site test scores while also sparking creativity and a love of learning. We can help. Our programs for school audiences are aligned with state and national standards. All of them are hands-on, inspiring and fun. Just pick a topic, location and format that fit your classroom needs.
