Enrich your Spring Break with workshops at Explorit!
Are you and your family looking for something to do doing during spring break? Come check out our spring 2008 workshops! Similar to our winter workshops, these drop-in programs will feature hands-on activities and experiments for adults and children to participate in together. The workshops will run March 24-28 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. in Explorit's Explorer Room, Explorer Overlook and Challenge Center at our main site, 2801 Second St. in Davis. Admission is $1 after museum admission. Members can purchase a pass for all five workshops for $3, a savings of $2. Each workshop will allow visitors to explore intersections between art and science. Investigations include: How can you make something that is neither solid nor liquid? How can an illustration of someone's face be angry and happy? There is no pre-registration for these workshops. They have a drop-in format, so you can come by any time between 1:30 and 4. |
