DJUSD Scholarship Program
Free and discounted Explorit programs are now available for elementary schools in the Davis Joint Unified School District.
The school district is providing each school with six “Explorit Program Scholarships” for 2009-2010. They give schools the opportunity to have fun, hands-on science programs for students − free of charge.
Each scholarship is valid for one free field trip for up to 40 students. Choose from one of the following programs at Explorit:
- A Discovery Lesson: A visit to Explorit’s Changing Exhibition at our main museum site, 2801 Second St.
- An Inquiry Lab: An experiment-based program at our main site
- A Nature Safari or Nature Lab: Visits to Explorit’s Nature Center.
Reserve the Lab, Lesson and Safari programs individually − or combine them for a whole-day experience (additional fees apply).
Scholarships also can be used as a $90 discount on any of Explorit’s Traveling Programs, in which we visit a school for a Classroom Adventure, Assembly Program, Young Scientist Series and Family Science Night.
Please note: Scholarships are limited to six per school, and these free programs will go quickly. Call us at (530) 756-0191 to book your program today! Be sure to mention your interest in the DJUSD Scholarship opportunity. Reservation requests may also be submitted online − start from this page.
Hope you will explore with us soon!
