Vietnamese Walking Sticks

During the exhibition "What's the Buzz? Insects Around Us," then trustee Chad Mayer brought in and donated the grandparents of the walking sticks currently living at Explorit. These walking sticks are wonderful to hold and amazing to watch. They are slow moving creatures with few defense mechanisms. Most significant is their amazing camouflage. In a dense forest these small animals would be almost impossible to see.
