Ooblek / Explor-ick recipes
Instructions to make two types of slime, Ooblek and Explor-ick!
Ooblek Recipe:
- ½ cup of Cornstarch
- ¼ cup of Water
Slowly mix water into cornstarch. Add additional water as necessary for consistency. When mixed correctly, the mixture should appear solid when tapped with a spoon, but the spoon should sink in when left alone.
Explor-ick Recipe:
- ½ tablespoon Borax (Found in the laundry aisle)
- ½ cup warm water
- ¼ cup glue (Elmer’s works best)
- ¼ cup water
Mix the Borax into the ½ cup of warm water to make part A. Separately, mix the glue and ¼ cup water to make part B. Add part A to part B and mix. You’ll see strands of slime forming quickly. There will likely be some water leftover. Store Explor-ick in a baggie to prevent drying.
