How to Support Explorit
Members and donors are our most important source of financial support.
Fees for program services such as our traveling science programs in elementary schools throughout the region are a significant source of funding.
And Explorit benefits greatly from the time, energy, skill and commitment of its hundreds of volunteers.
If you don't find —on the pages linked below— the kind of support you wish to provide please call 530-756-0191 and ask to speak to our Executive Director.
Your contribution will help Explorit continue to engage thousands of children and adults throughout the Sacramento region in hands-on science.

>> See what level will suit you best. Take pride in knowing your membership helps support Explorit's efforts to improve science, math, and technology education in our community. Members make a difference.
>> See the downloadable documents that explain the job of an Explorit Board Member (aka Director or Trustee). Explorit's Board has a Governance mission as well as a Programmatic Mission. The overall Board responsibilities are: Fund Development, Ambassadorship, Fiscal Oversight, Policy Making, Board Development, Planning. The board meets as a full board four times a year while the Executive committee meets in each month that the board does not. Board members are elected or re-elected to two-year terms at the Annual meeting in October. Officers are elected or re-elected to one-year terms at the same meeting. Elections can also occur mid year.
>> Have fun and help Explorit bring science to your community by becoming a volunteer! Our volunteer corps includes both adults and teens.
