The Explorit Store

The store is located in our 2nd Street facility and is open during museum hours.

All prices include sales tax, members get a 10 percent discount on all purchases. and all proceeds from store sales support Explorit’s educational efforts in Davis and 18 counties in Northern California.

Next time you visit be sure to check out the store at the Explorit Science Center. We have a range of items including small items suitable for the child's average pocket money purse, Whether you are looking for something to please a budding scientist, a small memento or a collection of things for a birthday party you'll surely find something that fits your need.

We carry several mugs including the Explorit 'Scientists' mug and, talking of scientists, we have Explorit's own Book of Science Days  an everlasting diary or a place to record personal dates while delving into the saga of scientific discoveries. This book is the only item that can be purchased from us online here.

Check out the selection of “Ein-O’s” boxed-sets.  These kits have materials and instructions for building everything from a human eye model to an electric motor and are bound to please the Einstein in all of us.

For the young biologist in your family, pick up a Nature Explorer Set and a "Scope-it-Out" microscope.  And although you cannot buy a toy version of Explorit’s famous blue-tongued skink, you will find other animals of all manner — stuffed, miniature or keychained.

There are tops, gliders, wooden airplanes, magic spinners, and even a motorized mini-car that will drive itself all over a refrigerator for individuals who have been inspired by Explorit’s current “Move-It” exhibit.  Challenge a know-it-all relative with the large selection of brainteaser puzzles.  And for that person who has everything, pick up some Elephant Poo Poo Paper.  That’s right, poo poo.  These charming stationery sets and journals made out of harvested elephant you-know-what will please anyone who has an interest in elephant conservation, sustainable materials or, well, you-know-what.
