Explorit is excited to once again be offering Summer Science Camp this year. Enrollment began on March 1st and there are still some spaces available! All camps run from 9am-12pm Monday-Friday and will have both indoor and outdoor components. Price is $175 Members/$200 Non-Members.
Need for Seeds: Plants, Pollinators, and People. Dig into Explorit’s New Pollinator Garden and get your hands dirty while learning how seeds grow into plants, some of their unique uses, and the relationship between plants and their pollinator partners. This camp will run from June 20-24 for those entering grades K-2nd and June 27-July 1 for those entering grades 3rd-6th.
Fur, Feathers, and Scales, oh my! Amazing Animal Adaptations. Campers will observe live animals and study hands-on specimens to learn the fun interesting ways animals have adapted to survive and thrive in their habitats. This camp will run from July 11-15 and August 8-12 for those entering grades K-2nd and July 25-29 for those entering grades 3rd-6th.
Out of this World! What would it be like to travel to Mars? How are the moons of Jupiter different from ours? Where could life be found outside of Earth? Campers examine these questions and others through hands-on activities and experiments. This camp will run from July 18-22 for those entering grades K-2nd and August 1-5 for those entering grades 3rd-6th.
Policies regarding COVID-19 will be assessed closer to camps and families will be notified no later than one week before the beginning of camp. Campers are responsible for bringing their own snack and water bottle. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes. Even though we try to be as clean as possible, but spills happen, and clothing may become dirty over the course of camp.

· Explorit is open to the public on Fridays from 1-4pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-2pm. Admission is $5 per person. Explorit Members, ASTC, and those age 2 and under free.
