Why volunteer with Explorit?
When you volunteer at Explorit, everyone who participates in our programs benefits. From the students in our Summer Science Camps to the teachers using Explorit as a resource, your involvement can directly enhance their science exploration and discovery, as well as your own.
You can play a pivotal part in helping people explore science. Share any level of time, skills, energy, or a willingness to learn by volunteering at Explorit Science Center. A science background is not necessary; training is provided, including an introduction to Explorit's mission and programs, along with specific training in the area you choose.
Time Commitment - Volunteers should be able to commit to a regular schedule. Two to three months (or two weeks for Summer Classes) should be considered a minimum time commitment.
Age Requirement - School-age volunteers must be at least 14 years old (7th grade)
Below you will find a partial listing of volunteer positions with descriptions. Let us know you are interested by filling out our volunteer interest form. After we review your submission, your information will be added to our volunteer database and you will be contacted as opportunities arise. Thanks for your interest!
