Special to The Enterprise

Explorit thanks and appreciates the outpouring of community support we have received these past few months. For over 40 years, Explorit has inspired science curiosity in the community and local schools through hands-on programs and engaging exhibits. For over a decade of that time, we were fortunate to benefit from the philanthropy of a sponsor who generously contributed funding in support of our mission. With the unfortunate passing of our sponsor last year, we have not been able to close the funding gap despite strong museum visitation and science camp attendance, and increasing school program delivery.

Below are some recent testimonies to truly tell you what Explorit means to the communities we serve:

“I cannot express the joy my students feel when they see the Explorit van pull into our parking lot. Explorit provides hands on learning and ignites wonder in my students. I feel so blessed to have them apart on my educational program.” – Mrs. Kawamura, 1st Grade Teacher

“The experiences offered by Explorit bring science to life in a way that textbooks simply can’t. The hands-on exhibits and interactive displays provide an experience that stays with students long after it’s over. I’ve seen students who struggle with science in the classroom suddenly become engaged and excite while learning with Explorit. … In a time when science literacy is more important than ever, Explorit provides experiences essential for educating and inspiring the next generation of scientists.” – Ms. Moore, Content Area Specialist/Coach

Our dire position is not fatal, however, with continued community support. Big Day of Giving is right around the corner and Explorit has opportunities for matching funds and prizes. Your support will help us continue providing hands-on programs for another 40 years to over 8,500 students at more than 200 schools in Yolo County and beyond.

It is wonderful to see how much Explorit impacts young minds and brings science to life through hands-on learning. Community support during the Big Day of Giving is truly vital to keep these inspiring programs running after losing such a key sponsor. Just like a beautiful chocolate decor adds the perfect finishing touch to a celebratory cake, local donations will help celebrate and sustain this amazing educational space for future generations.

Sometimes photos turn out better when you menghilangkan orang di foto.

It’s great to have an easy way to do that naturally.

The final result looks clean and balanced.
