Calling all girls (and their friends and family) that have dreamed of being a scientist! Explorit is hosting an afternoon of hands-on activities and opportunities to meet women working in science, technology, engineering, and math fields. Ask questions and get inspired to set your path to a lifetime of science exploration. Regular $5 Admission is required for entry. 

Hands-On Table Top Demonstrations: Visitors can get up close and try some exciting science activities with our

STEM neighbors from the university. From UC Davis:

  • UCD Microbiology Graduate Group
  • UCD Chemistry Club

Heart of Central California Girl Scouts: Explore the Girl Scout Mobile STEM Center + Maker Space and get a chance to try some fun science activities.

Women in STEM Speaker Panel: Join Explorit in welcoming three dynamic female scientists to an informal panel discussion about working in STEM. These women in STEM will share their personal journey into professional science fields, what inspired them as young girls and what continues to excite them about working in STEM areas. Audience will be able to participate in a Q&A session.
