Extra registration forms (203.3 kB pdf)

To register:

1. Complete the Registration Form on pages 5 and 6 of this guide. A separate form must be completed for each child. Click here for extra registration forms.

2. Submit the form to us by April 16:
  • Mail it to us at:
    P.O. Box 1288, Davis, CA 95617-1288
  • Deliver it to us weekdays between 9 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. at Explorit Nature Center, 3141 Fifth St.
  • Deliver it to us weekends between 11 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at our main facility, 2801 Second St.

Beginning April 19, we use a random-drawing method to place children in camps. For the most popular camps, we may schedule several sessions at either or both of our two Explorit sites. If you are enrolling siblings and want us to place them at the same Explorit camp site, or you want to ensure that two friends are placed in the same camp at the same site, please indicate your wishes on the Registration Form and submit both forms in the same envelope.

3. Look for your confirmation letter in the mail -- we’ll mail them April 30. Nearly everyone who submits a Registration Form by April 16 gets placed in a camp. Please include alternate choices to increase your child’s chance of being enrolled.  Sometimes wait lists are formed; your child will be placed on a wait list for the first choice only if we cannot place him/her in the alternate-choice camp.

4. If you miss the Random-Drawing Registration period, you may sign up for any remaining slots beginning May 3 in Open Registration. They’re filled on a first-come, first served basis. During Open Registration, you may phone us to sign up.
