Special to the Enterprise
Giving Tuesday is December 1st, 2020. Like many small businesses, the closures have had a significant impact on Explorit’s income and sustainability. During these unprecedented COVID times, our school programs and exhibit are on hold. Last year we served over 30, 000 students and families in 18 counties. Please consider giving to Explorit during this difficult time. Now is a great time to donate and help Explorit continue to educate and inspire the scientists of tomorrow: https://www.explorit.org/donate.
Continue to support Explorit during this uncertain time by becoming a member. Membership grants you free visits to Explorit’s regular public hours, discounts on events, camps, and workshops, and gives you ASTC benefits to visit other museums throughout the world. For more information, to purchase, or renew your membership visit https://www.explorit.org/membership or call Explorit at 530-756-0191.
Any donations we receive help us to continue to pay for our utilities and other bills. They help us to continue to feed and maintain the health of our onsite animals. Donations have already helped us to prepare our successful after school Fall Camps and will continue to help develop more afterschool programs in the New Year.
Please consider including Explorit Science Center in your end of year giving. Tomorrow’s scientists need your help and support, and you can make it happen. Many thanks from our Board of Directors and staff members: Sheila Allen, Phyllis Himmel, Julie Langston, Bob Tyzzer, John Horn, Vinita Domier, Rick LeFlore, Keith Banks, Gideon Alston, Anna Fantasia, Sara Thompson.
