Family Explorations
Family Explorations and Family Festivals are themed, hands-on programs designed for children and adults to learn together.
Explorit frequently invites community scientists to lead these programs, sharing their expertise and materials/equipment with visitors. Other times Explorit provides the activities. Explorit's Family Explorations usually take place on Saturdays from 1:00-4:00pm and are free with paid admission to the museum.
These programs compliment the Portal to the Public program.
