Explorit has had another successful year of providing science education to the Davis community and surrounding areas. We were excited to be able to reopen our latest exhibit “Healthy Planet, Healthy You” in October with extra safety and cleaning procedures in place. Explorit is only successful because of our amazing team of volunteers who help us with countless tasks. Not only do they help us with teaching during events, camps, workshops, and birthday parties, but they also help us sort and put away materials donated by the community. We would not have been able to update our exhibit and get ready for opening wit out extensive help with updating and painting our exhibit hall. Volunteers have been helping with our weekend activities and crafts, as well as assisting our guests during public hours. We want to recognize these wonderful people who take time out of their lives to help us out and keep us up and running, especially this year as we had to navigate and adapt to ever-changing health concerns.

Explorit heartily thanks our volunteers of 2021: Adrian Mondala, Alex van der Zeeuw, Amie Huang, Analia Eisen, Andy Reising, Arvin Domier, Asher Reising, Ben Rabin, Ben Ratner, Bob Tyzzer, Bradley Ellison, Calvin Domier, Cameron Hakim-Elahi, Carson Schmidt, Chanapa Mann, Chloe Jaffe, Chloe Vu, CJ Mileti, Cole Hanstad, Dierdre Reitz, Ece Midillioglu, Elias Toy, Elika Kiani, Elise Parker, Ellen Ferguson, Esther Sun, George Anderson, George Berdovskiy, Grace Hadani, Grant Huez, Heather Li, Irene Xu, Jack Maurantonio, Jacob Hertz, Jeesoo Jung, Jenna Kim, Jessica Oslund, John Horn, Jordan Thoennes, Julie Langston, Juniper Baythavong, Justin Lee, Keith Banks, Krish Kulkarni, Kutay Ozcelik, Larry Douglas, Leela Ghassemi, Margot Thompson, Max Maurantonio, Nathan Rullamas, Phyllis Himmel, Punya Uppal, Rick LeFlore, Rohan Baxi, Sam Reising, Sheila Allen, Siddharth Chilamkur, Sofi Lewis, Sofia Buduchina, Susan Douglas, Tara Reddy, Vamsi Chilamkur, Vinita Domier
